A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Armandinho Vieira hit a great ball. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolfo Sarri in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute RÚSTICOS F.C were awarded a corner. Melchor Eztebe went to the cornerflag to take it. José Augusto Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Omar Cristofol made a huge save. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Roberto Lopes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Omar Cristofol. Roberto Lopes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg in the 19th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Omar Cristofol was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for RÚSTICOS F.C through an amazing save. Omar Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Gilg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Roberto Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Eudoxio in the 34th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Denis Eudoxio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Donato. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Eudoxio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 41stth minute of the game Denis Eudoxio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olivier Gilg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Cristofol having to interfere. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Eudoxio in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquín Guzmán to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olivier Gilg was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Olivier Gilg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1.
