AFC FUSION's attentive Mario Sesuldo managed to snatch the ball when Arnoldo Txema made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. If Lino Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ramiro Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Dawid Beckham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Berserkers FC Ψ defense, Lino Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Gabrio. The Berserkers FC Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Gabrio should have stopped the shot. When AFC FUSION's Lino Rios in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berserkers FC Ψ's goalie prevented a goal. Juan-Ramón Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Eztebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 14 minutes AFC FUSION's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olliver Van Meirhaeghe who took care of the corner kick. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 20th minute of play. Juan-Ramón Verón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Ramón Verón in the 26th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Abilio might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Gabrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romulo Abilio ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramiro Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Abilio in the 36th minute of the match. Juan-Ramón Verón blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Eztebe having to make a save. Juan-Ramón Verón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. Mario Sesuldo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan-Ramón Verón in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Eztebe saved AFC FUSION from getting behind. After 54 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Mario Sesuldo. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Romulo Abilio got a free kick in the 60th minute. Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli was substituted for Juan-Ramón Verón. Berserkers FC Ψ's Elvio Ted was substituted for Giovani Lo Celso. In the 62nd minute, Romulo Abilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 63rd minute of play. Lino Rios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Gabrio having to make a save. Ramiro Gabrio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC FUSION's Wojciech Fiszer was substituted for Jan Hop. In the 84th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes Berserkers FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Hektor Liberoyiannis. In the 87th minute, Sergej Mazuret left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 94 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ignacio Circelli came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the AFC FUSION defense, Juan Ignacio Circelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Eztebe. The AFC FUSION fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Eztebe should have stopped the shot.
