The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Juan-Ramón Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchor Garoa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Chico Donato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berserkers FC Ψ. Ramiro Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Lopes in the 13th minute of play. After taking down the ball on DIPLOMATA FC PAB's corner Christian Carrier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramiro Gabrio quite easily take care of the ball. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lopes in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Roberto Lopes hit a great ball. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Ramón Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Roberto Lopes made the kick off in the second half. Ceferino Quinteros hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chico Donato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Berserkers FC Ψ's Olliver Van Meirhaeghe was substituted for Melchor Garoa. 66 minutes in the game Arnoldo Txema did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jim Mannell. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lopes in the 70th minute of play. Ramiro Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Lopes in the 74th minute of the match. Berserkers FC Ψ made a substitution. Juan Ignacio Circelli replaced Juan-Ramón Verón. Wilton do Valle made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Berserkers FC Ψ's Jim Mannell. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Berserkers FC Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frode Olavesen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chico Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Ignacio Circelli's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
