Amadeo Carrizo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Amadeo Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andries De Putter in the 15th minute of the match. Amadeo Carrizo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andries De Putter's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by 9 de Diciembre's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jordi Scherz was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led AFC United's Jordi Scherz to fire away a dangerous shot which Amadeo Carrizo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pål Säv's late challenge caught a AFC United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pål Säv helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, 9 de Diciembre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Säv to maneuver through the defense. If Andries De Putter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amadeo Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries De Putter, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Andries De Putter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Carrizo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Andries De Putter took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeo Carrizo. Amadeo Carrizo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Amadeo Carrizo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andries De Putter went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the game, AFC United's Andries De Putter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeo Carrizo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Andries De Putter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomasz Huchro to make the kick off. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Andries De Putter hit a great ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Andries De Putter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 9 de Diciembre's Amadeo Carrizo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lei Bin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Huchro's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. When Andries De Putter came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the AFC United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andries De Putter couldn't finish the play. Andries De Putter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Amadeo Carrizo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andries De Putter got free with Amadeo Carrizo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lei Bin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Huchro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Asprilla got free with Amadeo Carrizo in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 77 in the game by Faustino Asprilla from a close distance when the talented Amadeo Carrizo managed to make a qualified save. 9 de Diciembre's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Asprilla in the 80th minute of play forced 9 de Diciembre's goalkeeper Amadeo Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Zeng Sang Chao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 de Diciembre's Amadeo Carrizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save 9 de Diciembre from getting a goal against them. AFC United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jordi Scherz in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Rogelio Ruisko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 de Diciembre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Faustino Asprilla scored to the left of an out of position Amadeo Carrizo, making the score, 0-8. 9 de Diciembre's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Faustino Asprilla 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. The AFC United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
