In the 16th minute, one of Carabata Groove:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carabata Groove. Marcelo Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hauk Hareide, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Rejunte de perros's Mathieu De Winter got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogelio Funes Mori during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Funes Mori. After 39 minutes of play, Rejunte de perros's Rogelio Funes Mori made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Goito was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when Hauk Hareide came free, but Marcelo Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Funes Mori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristobal Goito having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Elazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Borys Barys kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Marcelo Armani acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Verner Nordin. Cristobal Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Ixaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Carabata Groove defense, Ezequiel Ixaka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Goito. The Carabata Groove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Goito should have stopped the shot. In the 67thth minute of the game David Rios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rejunte de perros's Marcelo Armani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Elazar in the 69th minute of play forced Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Marcelo Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Mauro Elazar suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Borys Barys charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Borys Barys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rejunte de perros's Thomás Barral was substituted for Ezequiel Ixaka. David Rios showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 87 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Barral came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rejunte de perros's Marcelo Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Rejunte de perros from getting a goal against them. After having played for 93 minutes, Mauro Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabata Groove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Elazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomás Barral took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Goito. Cristobal Goito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
