Henrik Ingemarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Söderqwist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nick Nick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Wolverhampton's 夏天 Naae got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Winnicki in the 24th minute of play forced Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Thomas Runeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 夏天 Naae kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Wolverhampton's Sotiris Koupepes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrik Ingemarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sotiris Koupepes to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Almkvist in the 55th minute of play forced Catholic Church's goalkeeper Henrik Ingemarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Runeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Winnicki in the 74th minute of the match. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Almkvist in the 76th minute of play. Sotiris Koupepes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Henrik Ingemarsson made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Edmund Almkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolverhampton's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Almkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrik Ingemarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 96 in the game by Sotiris Koupepes from a close distance when the talented Henrik Ingemarsson managed to make a qualified save. Catholic Church's players were relieved. The Catholic Church supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wolverhampton's performance. The match ended with a win for Wolverhampton.
