Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Almkvist in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmund Almkvist in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvar Arvidsson saved Kattvik kings from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Sotiris Koupepes took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Alvar Arvidsson to make any attempt to save it. Thomas Runeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Bratt in the 30th minute of play. Alvar Arvidsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sotiris Koupepes in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Şenel Zeval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kattvik kings booed when Wolverhampton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Söderqwist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kattvik kings's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
