Catholic Church's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Damm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Catholic Church's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Koupepes came free, but Henrik Ingemarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Catholic Church's Edgar Winnicki in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolverhampton's goalie prevented a goal. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Almkvist in the 34th minute of play. Henrik Ingemarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Catholic Church's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Almkvist came free, but Henrik Ingemarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Catholic Church's goalkeeper Henrik Ingemarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Oskar Ahlstedt. After 43 minutes, Timur Malyugin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catholic Church and the Wolverhampton players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Wolverhampton booed when Catholic Church was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timur Malyugin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

With a little luck, Wolverhampton's Thomas Runeberg got control of the ball when Agne Finman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute Sotiris Koupepes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Ingemarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Damm in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Sotiris Koupepes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson. Henrik Ingemarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henrik Ingemarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotiris Koupepes in the 61st minute of the match. Stig-Åke Ljungberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thomas Runeberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Stig-Åke Ljungberg slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Catholic Church's Oskar Bergqvist got a free kick in the 69th minute. Kang Hong Zhan made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Guillermo Granäng immediately put the ball in play. When Wolverhampton's Sotiris Koupepes in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Catholic Church getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bo-Erik Östensson hit a great ball. Henrik Ingemarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Almkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute Sotiris Koupepes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Ingemarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Guillermo Granäng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Catholic Church's Tord Söderqvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Åke Söderqwist in the 92 minute of the game. 93 minutes into the game, Per-Oskar Ahlstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolverhampton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catholic Church the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wolverhampton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Many of Catholic Church's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Catholic Church may have spent more time on the ball, but Wolverhampton were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
