Henrik Ingemarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig Grubb went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Henrik Ingemarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Lööf, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. FK Ekebo's Emanuele Fioriti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Winnicki in the 40th minute of play. Henrik Ingemarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Kamel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Kamel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Ingemarsson having to interfere. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Bermudo in the 45th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Tim Ståhlberg in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Catholic Church's Mathias Björk. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FK Ekebo! FK Ekebo:s Emanuele Fioriti showed great skill when he stopped Nick Nick:s penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Bermudo was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Agne Finman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Ekebo's Emanuele Fioriti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgar Winnicki might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuele Fioriti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Winnicki ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgard Bermudo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Henrik Ingemarsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emanuele Fioriti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Winnicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Fioriti having to interfere. FK Ekebo made a substitution. After 84 played minutes Catholic Church got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Bergqvist. 85 minutes into the match, Catholic Church's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Ståhlberg came free, but Henrik Ingemarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrik Ingemarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Norberg in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Catholic Church's Stig-Åke Ljungberg got a free kick in the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Catholic Church was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Ljungberg to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Nestor Baraquiel in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Catholic Church's Stig-Åke Ljungberg. The Catholic Church fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FK Ekebo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
