In the 8th minute Celedonio Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Fioriti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hammarby IF booed when FK Ekebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Hegg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuele Fioriti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuele Fioriti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Dominguez in the 23rd minute of the match. Emanuele Fioriti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FK Ekebo's goalie and right to Gösta Söderberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FK Ekebo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The wind increased when Celedonio Dominguez made the kick off in the second half. When Celedonio Dominguez came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Hammarby IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Dominguez couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the FK Ekebo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hammarby IF.
