When Ozan Heybetli came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Hammarby Sjöstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ozan Heybetli couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, Ozan Heybetli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Johan Lööf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johan Lööf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Sixten Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giacomo Casanova in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Ozan Heybetli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ozan Heybetli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, La Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Ozan Heybetli came free, but Johan Lööf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixten Tunander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Ozan Heybetli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Boys's Johan Lööf. Johan Lööf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giacomo Casanova made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goal looked a bit too open when Giacomo Casanova came free, but Sixten Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozan Heybetli in the 86th minute of play forced La Boys's goalkeeper Johan Lööf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Ozan Heybetli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Lööf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Boys's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ozan Heybetli was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Hammarby Sjöstad's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Leon Ferfecki heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Ozan Heybetli took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Johan Lööf to make any attempt to save it.
