Peter Sjöström charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Sjöström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peter Sjöström kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Lucas Backman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, North Pole Kickers's Lucas Backman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magni Buffone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Glemmingebro IF's Harald Vallander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folke Bure narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 21 minutes North Pole Kickers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Sjöström who took care of the corner kick. Peter Sjöström made a great header on Glemmingebro IF's corner, it was just that North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure managed to reach the ball for a save. Folke Bure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Vallander in the 24th minute of play. Anders Byström scored 1-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magni Buffone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonardo Forsberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Folke Bure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Vallander, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Harald Vallander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folke Bure read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Folke Bure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Vallander in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Sjöström got free with Folke Bure in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Glemmingebro IF's Harald Vallander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folke Bure narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Magni Buffone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Byström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harald Vallander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folke Bure read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Byström in the 46th minute of play forced Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Magni Buffone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Backman was the one to do the kick off. Magni Buffone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Backman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in North Pole Kickers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Folke Bure had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Peter Sjöström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Folke Bure came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Glemmingebro IF's Peter Sjöström. But to his dismay, Peter Sjöström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Magni Buffone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Backman in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Ahlbeck in the 67th minute of play forced Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Magni Buffone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glemmingebro IF's Kristian Arenstedt was substituted for Henning Flink. In the 69th minute of the match North Pole Kickers got a corner. Glemmingebro IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anders Byström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Anders Byström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Glemmingebro IF's Magni Buffone did a great save. 71 minutes into the match, Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Magni Buffone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Backman. With a little luck, Glemmingebro IF's Magni Buffone got control of the ball when Michael Ahlbeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Sjöström kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Folke Bure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Vallander, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Harald Vallander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
