Sven Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Lovera, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Åbyggeby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Isaksson came free, but Sven Finsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Isaksson in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Petter Abrahamsson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Åbyggeby FK made a substitution. Bo Åkesson replaced Petter Abrahamsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Ivar Kalland in the 17th minute of play forced Åbyggeby FK's goalkeeper Sven Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åbyggeby FK's Sven Finsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Lovera in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Vidar Lindberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niklas Vallander. Valla Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vidar Lindberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Antoine Lovera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Nykvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Åbyggeby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Isaksson came free, but Sven Finsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Finsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Lovera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Molander hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Niklas Isaksson put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sven Finsberg. After 41 played minutes Valla Fc got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Ivar Kalland. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Oskar Pihlgren got free with Niklas Vallander in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven Finsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Lovera in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antoine Lovera made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Tor-Ivar Kalland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven Finsberg. Tor-Ivar Kalland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Åbyggeby FK's Sven Finsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Åbyggeby FK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Valla Fc booed when Åbyggeby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Finsberg was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Tor-Ivar Kalland capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tor-Ivar Kalland really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Vidar Lindberg hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Åbyggeby FK defense, Niklas Isaksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Finsberg. The Åbyggeby FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Finsberg should have stopped the shot. Åbyggeby FK made a substitution. Oskar Billvall replaced Lars Öberg. 78 minutes into the match, Valla Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Lindberg came free, but Niklas Vallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Valla Fc booed when Åbyggeby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valla Fc's Kevin Nykvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Oliver Pettersson, made in the 85th minute of the game. When Eric Molander fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åbyggeby FK's protests and gave Eric Molander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Åbyggeby FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Molander to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes of play, Valla Fc's Tor-Ivar Kalland made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Finsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Antoine Lovera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sven Finsberg. The goal made the score 1-8. Valla Fc played a much better game than Åbyggeby FK and deserved their victory. The Åbyggeby FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
