Sven Finsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürkan Gurka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Åbyggeby FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gürkan Gurka fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Åbyggeby FK's goalkeeper Sven Finsberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olov Deckberg. Gürkan Gurka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Sven Finsberg made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Åbyggeby FK's Per-Arne Söderkvist got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Nykvist. Sven Finsberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Morgan Blom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. AIK FOTBOLL's Per-Oskar Nykvist got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, AIK FOTBOLL's Per-Oskar Nykvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven Finsberg. Sven Finsberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After a rather tough play, AIK FOTBOLL's Ove Kellberg got a free kick in the 34th minute. It was beautiful to see Åbyggeby FK's Inge Tidén in action when he in the 36th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Åbyggeby FK's Sven Finsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Nykvist in the 38th minute of play. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Pihlgren in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Olov Deckberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Finsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, AIK FOTBOLL's Per-Oskar Nykvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Finsberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AIK FOTBOLL had played much better football throughout.
