Haşim Şahruh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Deckberg in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Blom in the 7th minute of play forced Gagisha IF's goalkeeper Haşim Şahruh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haşim Şahruh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Sundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Antero Soveral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gagisha IF! Haşim Şahruh had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Ove Kellberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Haşim Şahruh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morgan Blom in the 21st minute. With splendid footwork Per-Oskar Nykvist arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 24th minute. AIK FOTBOLL's Arne Kilström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Collin in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Gagisha IF's Haşim Şahruh got control of the ball when Morgan Blom tried to sneak it across the goal line. When AIK FOTBOLL's Morgan Blom in 33 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Haşim Şahruh guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The AIK FOTBOLL fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when AIK FOTBOLL's Morgan Blom looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Per-Oskar Nykvist took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Haşim Şahruh to make any attempt to save it. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gagisha IF! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Kellberg in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haşim Şahruh saved Gagisha IF from getting behind. When Morgan Blom came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the AIK FOTBOLL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morgan Blom couldn't finish the play. Per-Oskar Nykvist kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Morgan Blom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gagisha IF's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Nykvist came free, but Haşim Şahruh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's Per-Oskar Nykvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haşim Şahruh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Morgan Blom scored 5-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haşim Şahruh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some careless play in the Gagisha IF defense, Fredrik Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haşim Şahruh. The Gagisha IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haşim Şahruh should have stopped the shot. Haşim Şahruh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Andréas Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Fredrik Axelsson made a precise shot to the right of Haşim Şahruh. Gagisha IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AIK FOTBOLL fully deserved thier win.
