The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henrik Möllgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurel Crivoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Möllgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurel Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Möllgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Glanselius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Hugo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 24th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save SSC Ambrosini from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomil Michnik got free with Aaron Glanselius in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Hector Hugo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Glanselius. SSC Ambrosini's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Hugo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Hugo made a kick off. Hector Hugo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Glanselius having to make a save. In the 58th minute Hector Hugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Henrik Möllgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Hugo in the 61st minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Hector Hugo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aaron Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Offendahl in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Bernt Offendahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Aaron Glanselius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK had played much better football throughout.
