In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calcio Brigate Rossonere's goalkeeper Elliot Norström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Fredric Melander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elliot Norström was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Fredric Melander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Norström having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klas Bergqvist in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elliot Norström saved Calcio Brigate Rossonere from getting behind. Calcio Brigate Rossonere's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Klas Bergqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick.
