The supporters of MZ Addicted 2.0 booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, MZ Addicted 2.0's Mattias Svanström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mattias Håkansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sakarias Haglund charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sakarias Haglund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MZ Addicted 2.0's Sakarias Haglund got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Erik Löfdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Oskar Trillkott was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Edvard Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karlsborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvard Magnusson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Stefan Höijer fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Addicted 2.0's protests and gave Stefan Höijer a yellow card for diving instead.
