Matthias Lindgren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Deo Mičánek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. Oskar Haeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Gustafsson in the 23rd minute of play. Hermanö Oilers's Ingemar Stålman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dexiators's Tymoteusz Misiorowski got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dave Di Filippo was the one to do the kick off. Ingemar Stålman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Gustafsson got free with Oskar Haeger in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 76th minute of play forced Dexiators's goalkeeper Matthias Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
