The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute, Max Gustafsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Bern came free, but Ksawery Bondel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Elias Tharaldsen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren. Matthias Lindgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elias Tharaldsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Elias Tharaldsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute Elias Tharaldsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ksawery Bondel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Gustafsson in the 26th minute. In the 30th match minute, Dexiators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Rönn to maneuver through the defense. If Max Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Tharaldsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthias Lindgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Elias Tharaldsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Tharaldsen made a kick off. In the 73rd match minute, Dexiators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Söderlund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymoteusz Misiorowski in the 74th minute of play forced AC Mayonnaise's goalkeeper Ksawery Bondel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Fernström came free, but Ksawery Bondel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Falck charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Falck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Trey Coats kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Matthias Lindgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrik Åström's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AC Mayonnaise walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
