The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. I Rossoneri's Arneil Trossero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Dave Di Filippo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute Dave Di Filippo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arneil Trossero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Dave Di Filippo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arneil Trossero. I Rossoneri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dave Di Filippo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. I Rossoneri's Arneil Trossero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Arne Stenman got free with Oskar Haeger in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Di Filippo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arneil Trossero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Oskar Haeger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Edvin Blixt. In the 28th minute Stig-Arne Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Haeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arneil Trossero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dave Di Filippo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 33 minutes, Valentin Dusett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hermanö Oilers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Dusett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of I Rossoneri booed when Hermanö Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Askelöf didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, I Rossoneri's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Di Filippo came free, but Arneil Trossero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Dave Di Filippo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arneil Trossero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Edvin Blixt made a kick off. In the 51st minute Linus Skoglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Haeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 54 in the game by Dave Di Filippo from a close distance when the talented Arneil Trossero managed to make a qualified save. I Rossoneri's players were relieved. Hermanö Oilers's Dave Di Filippo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oskar Haeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Skoglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Dave Di Filippo took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Arneil Trossero to make any attempt to save it. Hermanö Oilers's Dave Di Filippo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when I Rossoneri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Backlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Holmberg hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Arneil Trossero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Stålman in the 89th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingemar Stålman in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arneil Trossero saved I Rossoneri from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Hermanö Oilers were awarded a corner. Harel Minsky went to the cornerflag to take it. Arneil Trossero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Stålman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Harel Minsky got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arneil Trossero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
