Mikael Bengtsson started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd play minute Dave Di Filippo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Victor Sundström. 1-0. If Dave Di Filippo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dave Di Filippos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Victor Sundström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 29 minutes into the game, Hermanö Oilers's Dave Di Filippo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Sundström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 32 minutes into the game, Ingemar Stålman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Victor Sundström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ingemar Stålman might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Sundström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingemar Stålman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ingemar Stålman kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Harry Forsman got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Valentin Dusett got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dave Di Filippo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dave Di Filippo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Sundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Fabian Ramond fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hermanö Oilers's protests and gave Fabian Ramond a yellow card for diving instead. Fabian Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 61st minute of play forced Käka Puck BK's goalkeeper Victor Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Käka Puck BK booed when Hermanö Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Forsman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Dave Di Filippo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Stålman in the 73rd minute of play. Dave Di Filippo might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Sundström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Di Filippo ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Di Filippo in the 74th minute of play. Victor Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Di Filippo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingemar Stålman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Dave Di Filippo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Sundström was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Dave Di Filippo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Sundström having to make a save. After having played for 91 minutes, Dave Di Filippo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hermanö Oilers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Di Filippo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermanö Oilers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
