Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Verner Kjellkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Harald Fridlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Kjellkvist in the 52nd minute of the match. Harald Fridlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neno Burmov in the 56th minute. IFK Tallkotte's Verner Kjellkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Folke Skoglund fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Green Fairies's protests and gave Folke Skoglund a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to The Green Fairies getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Folke Skoglund hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Neno Burmov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Hedman in the 73rd minute of play forced IFK Tallkotte's goalkeeper Joakim Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neno Burmov got free with Harald Fridlund in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th match minute, The Green Fairies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Bocchi to maneuver through the defense. Joakim Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Mossberg in the 78th minute of play. Neno Burmov took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harald Fridlund. Harald Fridlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Godo Møltoft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, The Green Fairies's goal looked a bit too open when Louis-Philippe De Fremeaux came free, but Harald Fridlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The IFK Tallkotte supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing IFK Tallkotte would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
