After 4 minutes The Green Fairies's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mac Gordon who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in The Green Fairies's zone, Kennet Fernström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Fridlund came out of the goal and Kennet Fernström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Max Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Harald Fridlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harald Fridlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Gustafsson in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, The Green Fairies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Bocchi to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes, Dexiators's Mac Gordon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harald Fridlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dexiators reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lindholm in the 23rd minute of play forced Dexiators's goalkeeper Matthias Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Dexiators got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Frykberg. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dexiators's goalkeeper Matthias Lindgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matthias Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Lindholm in the 29th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, The Green Fairies's Patrice Coker made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthias Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matthias Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Skoglund in the 35th minute of play. Matthias Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, The Green Fairies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Hedman to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, The Green Fairies's Harald Fridlund got control of the ball when Brian Bern tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harald Fridlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Frykberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half The Green Fairies were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren got control of the ball when David Hedman tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Patrice Coker was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. In the 61st match minute, The Green Fairies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrice Coker to maneuver through the defense. Dexiators's Kevin Hägglund was substituted for Ove Hökqvist. In the 62nd minute, Patrice Coker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Johansson in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harald Fridlund saved The Green Fairies from getting behind. Harald Fridlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Söderlund in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Johansson in the 70th minute of play forced The Green Fairies's goalkeeper Harald Fridlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Camillo Bocchi fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Green Fairies's protests and gave Camillo Bocchi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, The Green Fairies's Camillo Bocchi got a free kick in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dexiators fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Green Fairies had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
