Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Håkan Lindgren started the match with the kick off. Börje Stål made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brothers of Mercy's Christer Valler. Håkan Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 7 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Lindgren came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Håkan Lindgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 played minutes Brothers of Mercy got a freekick which was hit by Melker Bergdal. 27 minutes into the match, Börje Stål notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Brothers of Mercy's Ni Jun Sha. Ni Jun Sha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Brothers of Mercy's zone, Leonardo Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ni Jun Sha came out of the goal and Leonardo Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Håkan Lindgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Håkan Lindgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 41st minute of play. Håkan Lindgren charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Håkan Lindgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute of the match, Håkan Lindgren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus Ekrot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Brothers of Mercy made a substitution. Alex Axelsson replaced Roger Strömberg. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Stål was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Martin Mutumba threw the ball into play from the sideline. Marcus Ekrot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Tage Glanselius replaced Hugo Eden. If Börje Stål had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vykans Vikingar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mats Hermansson in the 66th minute. Börje Stål made a great header on Vykans Vikingar's corner, it was just that Brothers of Mercy's Ni Jun Sha managed to reach the ball for a save. Börje Stål got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 67th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Vykans Vikingar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
