After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Radamel Oakley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surahammar's supporters rose to their feet, but Radamel Oakley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Kristiansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute Sten Melberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Herman Benett got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Lindström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute, Vincent Benett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Surahammar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jan Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Melberg in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Vincent Benett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Di Röe's George Kristiansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sten Melberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Lindström came out and tried to block the shot, but Sten Melberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Radamel Oakley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Di Röe's George Kristiansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Di Röe from getting a goal against them. When Billy Fristedt fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Surahammar's protests and gave Billy Fristedt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Billy Fristedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Surahammar's André Pettersson was substituted for Radamel Oakley. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Billy Fristedt hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Adrian Kodzhabashev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Surahammar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Di Röe throughout the match.
