Di Röe's Sten Melberg came free and shot a quick shot against goal 3 minutes in the game, fortunately Kenneth Kvarnström had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 5 minutes Snett★inåt★bakåt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herman Benett who took care of the corner kick. Di Röe's Bengt-Rune Berg got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenneth Kvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sten Melberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kenneth Kvarnström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sten Melberg in the 11th minute. Kenneth Kvarnström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Melberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Sten Melberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kenneth Kvarnström came out and tried to block the shot, but Sten Melberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Sten Melberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Kvarnström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Sten Melberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenneth Kvarnström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Melberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Sten Melberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Kenneth Kvarnström made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Melberg in the 23rd minute of play forced Snett★inåt★bakåt's goalkeeper Kenneth Kvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Melberg struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Kenneth Kvarnström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Di Röe. 31 minutes into the match, Sten Melberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kenneth Kvarnström, 2-0. Kenneth Kvarnström made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Sten Melberg sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Carvalhal made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Sten Melberg made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Snett★inåt★bakåt's Kenneth Kvarnström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kenneth Kvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Melberg in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth Kvarnström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Di Röe were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Snett★inåt★bakåt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Herman Benett took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Kent Gunnarsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Di Röe made a substitution. Arnaldo da Fonseca replaced Sten Melberg. Di Röe's Knut Engström was substituted for Elliot Kellbom. Di Röe's Gerard Tan was substituted for Bengt-Rune Berg. In the 72nd minute Knut Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Kvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Jönsson charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Jönsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fernando Carvalhal hit a great ball. 6-0 became the score in the 93rd minute when Arnaldo da Fonseca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Snett★inåt★bakåt's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
