Mikael Liberatore scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Blixt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mikael Liberatore struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Benjamin Blixt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wargön. Benjamin Blixt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayan Baye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Blixt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KD Stiger's Robert Salqvist got a free kick in the 21st minute. Benjamin Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Liberatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Wargön's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bayan Baye in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bayan Baye in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Blixt saved KD Stiger from getting behind. Wargön's Maxime Poussin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benjamin Blixt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Georg Danielsson hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Ernst Asmundsson in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wargön's Júlio Munhoz. Artur Buba made a great header on Wargön's corner, it was just that KD Stiger's Benjamin Blixt managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Artur Buba put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Benjamin Blixt. 42 minutes into the match, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin Blixt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in KD Stiger's zone, Mikael Liberatore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Blixt came out of the goal and Mikael Liberatore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Bayan Baye's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Blixt was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulf Olofsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Blixt came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Wargön's Mikael Liberatore. But to his dismay, Mikael Liberatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Liberatore in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Blixt saved KD Stiger from getting behind. Wargön were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after KD Stiger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bayan Baye took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Artur Buba managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 60th minute, Björn Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Blixt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikael Liberatore in the 64th minute. Mikael Liberatore took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Blixt. Benjamin Blixt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 68th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Stark to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Mikael Liberatore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Liberatore in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Blixt saved KD Stiger from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goalkeeper Benjamin Blixt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Liberatore. When Mikael Liberatore came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Wargön fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Liberatore couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, KD Stiger's Benjamin Blixt got control of the ball when Mikael Liberatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Wargön's Nils-Arne Nilsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benjamin Blixt. Benjamin Blixt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 91 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Arne Nilsson came free, but Benjamin Blixt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wargön's Mikael Liberatore got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
