The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Dallen Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Sandberg came free, but Nils Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dallen Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Georg Danielsson was slow to take the kick. During this time KD Stiger's players had a chance to rest. In the 7th minute Vilgot Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, KD Stiger's Vilgot Sandberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nils Eklund. Nils Eklund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Dallen Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Stark came free, but Nils Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zlatan Beck charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zlatan Beck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dallen Fc's Zlatan Beck got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ulf Olofsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Nils Eklund made a huge save. Vilgot Sandberg's late challenge caught a Dallen Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilgot Sandberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilgot Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Eklund having to interfere. After 30 minutes KD Stiger's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zlatan Beck who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Zlatan Beck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KD Stiger's Benjamin Blixt did a great save. In the 38th minute Zlatan Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Blixt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatan Beck, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Dallen Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Sandberg came free, but Nils Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes KD Stiger got a freekick which was hit by Bo Almqvist. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ulf Olofsson charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulf Olofsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, KD Stiger's Ulf Olofsson got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Zlatan Beck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benjamin Blixt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zlatan Beck got free with Benjamin Blixt in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Benjamin Stark notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Dallen Fc's Nils Eklund. Nils Eklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamin Blixt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jim Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. A collision led to KD Stiger getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bo Almqvist hit a great ball. Dallen Fc made a substitution. Stig-Åke Wiklund replaced Johan Mellberg. Dallen Fc's Patrick Karlberg was substituted for Bo-Erik Nyström. After 72 played minutes KD Stiger got a freekick which was hit by Bo Almqvist. The supporters of Dallen Fc booed when KD Stiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Salqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dallen Fc's Nils Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Sandberg in the 84th minute of play. Arvin Falck hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Benjamin Blixt made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Zlatan Beck sent off a good shot on target. KD Stiger's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
