Viktor Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Ek came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Papapetrou came free, but Viktor Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Strömsbro IF fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mei Quan Sen made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Roman Lluciano however managed to control. Georg Glad hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Lluciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Roman Lluciano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rıza Vuralhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. NovaStella FK's Viktor Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by NovaStella FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mao Jun Yun was slow to take the kick. During this time Strömsbro IF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Strömsbro IF's Bosse Tuborg to fire away a dangerous shot which Viktor Häll despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bo Harman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute of the match Inocencio Lorien shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rıza Vuralhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute Roman Lluciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıza Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristoffer Ek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Rıza Vuralhan made a huge save. Argyris Papapetrou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Häll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Strömsbro IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mao Jun Yun in the 59th minute. Strömsbro IF's Mao Jun Yun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Viktor Häll in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristoffer Ek in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rıza Vuralhan saved Strömsbro IF from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Inocencio Lorien kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rıza Vuralhan. That made the score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Harman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Bo Harman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Ek came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Kristiansson came free, but Viktor Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan got control of the ball when Marcu Pantelimon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Argyris Papapetrou struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Viktor Häll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strömsbro IF. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Lorien got free with Rıza Vuralhan in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Ek came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Argyris Papapetrou took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktor Häll. Viktor Häll dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 95th minute, Argyris Papapetrou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. NovaStella FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
