An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 16th minute of play forced Överås IK's goalkeeper Davide Galván to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson got control of the ball when Marcus Bergsten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Per Tunström scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davide Galván, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Odén, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Henry Fagerberg took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davide Galván. Davide Galván dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Henry Fagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Rönnöfors FF were awarded a corner. Per Stenberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Per Stenberg made a great header on Rönnöfors FF's corner, it was just that Överås IK's Davide Galván managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Tunström in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Galván saved Överås IK from getting behind. After 36 minutes, Per Tunström made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Överås IK's Davide Galván tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Hydén made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcus Bergsten. 46 minutes into the match, Överås IK's Karsten Karlsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Magne Gunnarsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Henry Fagerberg made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Överås IK got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Karlsen. 54 minutes into the game, Hitz Toxeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Överås IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rönnöfors FF the free kick. In the 54th minute, Hitz Toxeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Henry Fagerberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davide Galván was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Davide Galván made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Galván saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Bergsten in the 64th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Galván saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Överås IK's Davide Galván proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Överås IK from getting a goal against them. Hitz Toxeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigvard Biörnberg hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Henry Fagerberg sped through Överås IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Davide Galván. Davide Galván made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Henry Fagerberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Davide Galván was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Per Stenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Galván having to interfere. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Hydén in the 93rd minute of play. Davide Galván made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Per Tunström sent off a good shot on target. The Rönnöfors FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
