Anders Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaj Ekegren in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Springfält narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SJÖARED's goalkeeper Adrian Springfält, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after SJÖARED's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walter Closet took the corner. Bebben Johansson made a great header on Golden Lions FC's corner, it was just that SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 38th minute, Bebben Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in SJÖARED's zone, Georg Termander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Springfält came out of the goal and Georg Termander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Loco Durazno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Springfält. SJÖARED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Durazno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Gustafsson in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaj Ekegren to make the kick off. SJÖARED's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roger Bålström in the 62nd minute. The corner led SJÖARED's Roger Bålström to fire away a dangerous shot which Anders Lundqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adrian Springfält came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno. But to his dismay, Loco Durazno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Mats Nyström replaced Georg Termander. İbrahim Efe Topdemir struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Adrian Springfält didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. Adrian Springfält made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Mats Nyström sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Springfält made an important save on a dangerous shot by İbrahim Efe Topdemir in the 84th minute. In the 84th minute, Golden Lions FC's İbrahim Efe Topdemir ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adrian Springfält. Adrian Springfält yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Urban Rudberg got in the 88th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anders Lundqvist handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 90th minute Burç Tokhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Springfält saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Gustafsson in the 91st minute of play. After 93 minutes, Roger Bålström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SJÖARED and the Golden Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SJÖARED getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Roger Bålström hit a great ball.
