Alf Jansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Blanchaert in the 25th minute of play. Mattias Söderqvist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Joga Hem FC defense, Per Rolandsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alf Jansson. The Joga Hem FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alf Jansson should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Joga Hem FC's goalkeeper Alf Jansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jo Blanchaert took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alf Jansson. In the 43rd minute, Jo Blanchaert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Jansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Alf Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jo Blanchaert in the 46th minute of the match. Average Joes made a substitution. Pål Askestät replaced Jo Blanchaert. After the first half Average Joes were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Rolandsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Pål Askestät recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alf Jansson. The referee ignored Joga Hem FC's protests and gave Edmund Sundén a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Joga Hem FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Sundén. The crowd rose to their feet as Arthur Saba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alf Jansson. That made the score 0-13 in the 66 minute of play. In the 69th minute, Pål Askestät made a precise shot to the right of Alf Jansson. Joga Hem FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. Marcus Hercus's late challenge caught a Average Joes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Hercus helped the player get up and apologised. Marcus Hercus kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Joga Hem FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Arthur Saba scored to the left of an out of position Alf Jansson, making the score, 0-15. 77 minutes into the game, Yavuz Bülent Özger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-16. Alf Jansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melker Lilja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Alf Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Joga Hem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Silban came free, but Alf Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 minutes of play, Average Joes's Jeremias Silban made it 0-18 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alf Jansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Average Joes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
