In the 4th minute Karsten Karlsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Överås IK's Jan Hydén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olov Åström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 10th minute August Kvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Galván saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Here Comes the Hammer's Yu Xiong Yan got a free kick in the 13th minute. A nice corner shot did that Marcus Bergsten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olov Åström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Here Comes the Hammer's Olov Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karsten Karlsen in the 17th minute of play. Olov Åström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karsten Karlsen went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute Karsten Karlsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Virgo Saidla fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Överås IK's protests and gave Virgo Saidla a yellow card for diving instead. Virgo Saidla kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Karlsen in the 39th minute of play forced Here Comes the Hammer's goalkeeper Olov Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Hydéns short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Olov Åström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Here Comes the Hammer's Olov Åström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Here Comes the Hammer from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Bergsten to make the kick off. In the 50th minute August Kvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Galván saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zlatan Nickerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Överås IK's Davide Galván proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Överås IK from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Zlatan Nickerson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Galván saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Zlatan Nickerson lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Davide Galván. Olov Åström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Hydén in the 79th minute of the match. Carlinhos Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Karsten Karlsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Olov Åström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Överås IK's Claes Axelsson got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Zlatan Nickerson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Here Comes the Hammer's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatan Nickerson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davide Galván breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlinhos Félix during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute August Kvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Galván saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Överås IK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
