In the 4th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Steven to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Westra Aros SK defense, Loco Durazno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Söder. The Westra Aros SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Söder should have stopped the shot. After 12 minutes, Adriel Ba Loua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westra Aros SK and the Golden Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Westra Aros SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriel Ba Loua didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Golden Lions FC's Bebben Johansson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Söder was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Haegg. When Loco Durazno came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Golden Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Durazno couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefan Söder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After 33 minutes, Loco Durazno made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Westra Aros SK's Stefan Söder tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ingo Kuster came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriel Ba Loua was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Adriel Ba Loua hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Loco Durazno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Stefan Söder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-7 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Baggio was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Loco Durazno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westra Aros SK's Stefan Söder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Westra Aros SK's Stefan Söder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Westra Aros SK from getting a goal against them. Burç Tokhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Stefan Söder made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Mats Nyström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Söder. Westra Aros SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mats Nyström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-10. Golden Lions FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
