The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fortinducto's Tomás Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Hats in the 10th minute of play. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiu Bin Zhen in the 12th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Salvador Hats took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Tomás Montel to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emrullah Erengüç in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Orlan saved El Fortín de Floresta from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Gervasio Playo made a precise shot to the right of Santos Orlan. El Fortín de Floresta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Fortinducto's Tomás Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Stanislao in the 26th minute of play. Casimiro Policarpio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Montel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Fortinducto's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Hats came free, but Tomás Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Stanislao in the 41st minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, El Fortín de Floresta's Cipriano Aguilera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Montel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Hats stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lisandro Martinez hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, El Fortín de Floresta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Policarpio to maneuver through the defense. Santos Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emrullah Erengüç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, El Fortín de Floresta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Stanislao to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of El Fortín de Floresta booed when Fortinducto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrullah Erengüç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes, Cristo Orlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Fortín de Floresta and the Fortinducto players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to El Fortín de Floresta getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. The Fortinducto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fortinducto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
