After 17 minutes PINGO PINGO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudinho Quadros who took care of the corner kick. In the 21st minute Poul Stanković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Doctor Frankenhaeuser in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Clube Audax Metropolitano's Claudinho Quadros. Dionisio Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poul Stanković in the 24th minute of play. Poul Stanković hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Gilberto Demario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Santo Lano made a huge save. Alvaro Micarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalkeeper Santo Lano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Josefsson. PINGO PINGO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Casimiro Claris in the 36th minute. PINGO PINGO's Casimiro Claris was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santo Lano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Poul Stanković took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Raphael. Dionisio Raphael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Santo Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Josefsson in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Poul Stanković was the one to do the kick off. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Claudinho Quadros managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Doctor Frankenhaeuser in the 51 minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Doctor Frankenhaeuser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match PINGO PINGO got a corner. Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Casimiro Claris ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 60 played minutes Clube Audax Metropolitano got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Dziechciowski. Santo Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Micarelli in the 63rd minute of play. Clube Audax Metropolitano made a substitution. Bruno Aleixo replaced Claudinho Quadros. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Pedro Prestes was substituted for Poul Stanković. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Doctor Frankenhaeuser with Filip Josefsson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
