In the 5th match minute, GoooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Burdea to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Plopșor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made a huge save. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Plopșor in the 11th minute. 17 minutes into the game, F.C.BARLAD's Petru Moldoveanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 21 played minutes GoooooL got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Cigu. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Plopșor in the 22nd minute of the match. GoooooL's Mihăiţă Ştefulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Călin in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Ştefulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Plopșor. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Valentin Plopșor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 32 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Simionescu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of GoooooL's Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Plopșor in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, GoooooL's Mihăiţă Ştefulescu got control of the ball when Valentin Plopșor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Plopșor got free with Mihăiţă Ştefulescu in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel Molodețiu to make the kick off. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petru Moldoveanu's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. After 53 minutes of play, F.C.BARLAD's Valentin Plopșor made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Călin came free, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes, Emanuel Cigu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoooooL and the F.C.BARLAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, GoooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Cigu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Simionescu in the 59th minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Ştefulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Simionescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes, Aron Dobrea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoooooL and the F.C.BARLAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aron Dobrea hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Paul Albuț took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. GoooooL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 68th minute Ferdinand Simionescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Simionescu in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihăiţă Ştefulescu saved GoooooL from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Ferdinand Simionescu made a precise shot to the right of Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. GoooooL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. F.C.BARLAD made a substitution. Edgar Arghir replaced Petru Moldoveanu. GoooooL's Mihăiţă Ştefulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Simionescu in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of GoooooL booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Cretan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, GoooooL's Alin Tirulescu got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ioan Burdea kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Mihăiţă Călin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Gurgui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Tirulescu in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C.BARLAD fans cheered their team off the field, for while GoooooL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
