Basarab Tarcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Rareș in the 8th minute of play. Nicolae Valerians short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Eric Frântu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narcis Ruşdea got free with Eric Frântu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Rareș kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Valentin Rareș hit a great ball. Adam Buș hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Nicolae Valerian came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolae Valerian couldn't finish the play. Eric Frântu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Ruşdea, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Adam Buș. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ilie Pop managed to get in a good position for a shot. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ilie Pop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Frântu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51stth minute of the game Narcis Ruşdea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Steaua Pildesti's Eric Frântu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Adam Buș hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Ilie Pop sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eric Frântu skillfully saved the ball. Eric Frântu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Ruşdea in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Tiberiu Pantilimon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
