In the 14th minute Valeriu Bucurescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Frântu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leontin Humă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Isvoreanu in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valer Cobâlcescu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Steaua Pildesti's players had a chance to rest. Leontin Humă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.
