With a little luck, FC Berea's Dacian Iurea got control of the ball when Florin Răducioiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Viola Invest's Florin Răducioiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dacian Iurea. Dacian Iurea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Horea Panaitoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. David Şneapotă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basarab Arotăriței in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Şneapotă saved Viola Invest from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Viola Invest's Florin Bălașa got a free kick in the 22nd minute. David Şneapotă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basarab Arotăriței's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Viola Invest's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Bilașco in the 33rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Florin Răducioiu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. David Şneapotă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Frumuzache in the 35th minute of the match. Florin Bălașa hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gigi Ardeleanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Şneapotă. Viola Invest's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Panaitoiu in the 37th minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper David Şneapotă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Berea's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gigi Ardeleanu in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gigi Ardeleanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Şneapotă quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

David Şneapotă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Frumuzache, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Dacian Iurea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Bălașa in the 58th minute of the match. Florin Bălașa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Berea booed when Viola Invest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Bălașa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Basarab Arotăriței's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Şneapotă was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Florin Bălașa was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A hard shot by Victor Rotariu from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got David Şneapotă's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Viola Invest's Florin Răducioiu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basarab Arotăriței in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Şneapotă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC Berea's Gigi Ardeleanu got a free kick in the 78th minute. David Şneapotă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basarab Arotăriței went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. David Şneapotă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Arotăriței in the 85th minute of the match. David Şneapotă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toader Buzoianu in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Florin Răducioiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viola Invest's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Berea the free kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
