The corner led FC Steaua Pildesti's Octav Mergea to fire away a dangerous shot which David Şneapotă despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 6 minutes, Nicolae Jilăveanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viola Invest and the FC Steaua Pildesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Viola Invest getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nicolae Jilăveanu hit a great ball. David Şneapotă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Buș in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Eric Frântu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of FC Steaua Pildesti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Viola Invest:s goal. After 19 minutes FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Eric Frântu managed, with a little bit of luck, save Martin Bilașco's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Nae Bărboianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Frântu having to interfere. When FC Steaua Pildesti's Gheorghe Vlăsiu in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nae Bărboianu made a kick off. Eric Frântu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Răducioiu in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Eric Frântu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes, Rareș Ficsinescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Steaua Pildesti and the Viola Invest players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viola Invest made a substitution. Ferdinand Eftimiu replaced Florin Bălașa. Rareș Ficsinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Eric Frântu came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Viola Invest's Florin Răducioiu. But to his dismay, Florin Răducioiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Nae Bărboianu scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Frântu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Vlăsiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Şneapotă was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gheorghe Vlăsiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Gheorghe Vlăsiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Şneapotă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gheorghe Vlăsiu in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Şneapotă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viola Invest's David Şneapotă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Viola Invest from getting a goal against them. FC Steaua Pildesti's Eric Frântu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Răducioiu in the 94th minute of play.
