George Teodoreanu's late challenge caught a ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Teodoreanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by George Teodoreanu. David Şneapotă made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Tiberiu Pantilimon sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Florin Hortopan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viola Invest the free kick. After a rather tough play, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Florin Hortopan got a free kick in the 10th minute. David Şneapotă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiberiu Pantilimon went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot 24 in the game by Narcis Ruşdea from a close distance when the talented David Şneapotă managed to make a qualified save. Viola Invest's players were relieved. Edgar Ciocârlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Bărboianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Narcis Ruşdea got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s David Şneapotă threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Narcis Ruşdea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute, Florin Răducioiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viola Invest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tiberiu Pantilimon managed to get in a good position for a shot. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tiberiu Pantilimon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Şneapotă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Viola Invest's Florin Răducioiu got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narcis Ruşdea to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Nae Bărboianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Ciocârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Ciocârlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nae Bărboianu went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Narcis Ruşdea scored 2-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Şneapotă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dorin Proca's late challenge caught a ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorin Proca helped the player get up and apologised. When Tiberiu Pantilimon came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiberiu Pantilimon couldn't finish the play. Nae Bărboianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Ciocârlan having to interfere. Leontin Timaru hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Nicolae Valerian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolae Valerian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ booed when Viola Invest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Proca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Narcis Ruşdea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Şneapotă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Ciocârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Jilăveanu in the 80th minute of play. Florin Răducioiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
