In the 3rdth minute of the game Mihnea Jula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Rio's Iurie Mutu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horia Berceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horia Berceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horia Berceanu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Petrică Bulă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iurie Mutu having to make a save. 11 minutes into the game, ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s Iustin Pamfil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iurie Mutu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Iustin Pamfil's late challenge caught a Academia Rio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iustin Pamfil helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Pamfil. In the 18th minute Marian Ozon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Cluceru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, János Oltean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Cluceru. ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that János Oltean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s Călin Cluceru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Vintilescu in the 26th minute of play. Petrică Bulă struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Iurie Mutu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™. Petruț Codreanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Călin Cluceru. ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by János Oltean in the 34th minute of play forced ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s goalkeeper Călin Cluceru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iurie Mutu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. János Oltean kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. George Pantiș charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When János Oltean came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Academia Rio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that János Oltean couldn't finish the play. In the 44th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Ozon to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sever Vintilescu was the one to do the kick off. Mihnea Jula took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iurie Mutu. Iurie Mutu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Călin Cluceru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Oltean in the 58th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Iustin Pamfil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Sever Vintilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Cluceru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihnea Jula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Iurie Mutu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viorel Stănciulaş took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iurie Mutu. Iurie Mutu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Academia Rio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
