With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ana Ţugui in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nechifor Epure saved Academia Rio from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horia Irimescu got free with Manole Tăcutu in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul Baran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Horia Berceanu got a free kick in the 78th minute. Nechifor Epure acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paul Baran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Irimescu in the 82nd minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Manole Tăcutu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iulian Negulescu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Nechifor Epure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Ţugui, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded -BZF- Valea Buzăului left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Academia Rio.
