Damian Cârlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Corneliu Macamete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Golo Phoenix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Macamete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Golo Phoenix made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Macamete. Alexandria Team08's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 22nd minute Olimpiu Fecioru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Macamete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Ştefan Cârlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Irinel Pască fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandria Team08's protests and gave Irinel Pască a yellow card for diving instead. Irinel Pască kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Golo Phoenix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Macamete having to interfere. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Gurlui didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Mircea Jupân shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Macamete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corneliu Macamete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golo Phoenix in the 42nd minute of the match. Golo Phoenix took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corneliu Macamete. Corneliu Macamete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Golo Phoenix made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Golo Phoenix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Corneliu Macamete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Viorel Firu kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Golo Phoenix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Golo Phoenix got free with Corneliu Macamete in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Golo Phoenix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Strong Phoenix suffered a concussion after 76 minutes and had to leave the field. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when Alexandria Team08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Pască didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Cârlan kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Mircea Jupân struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Corneliu Macamete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca.
