Costin Ignătoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Mușătescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Barbonța in the 11th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mădălin Barbonța, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panait Ogășanu to maneuver through the defense. Gigel Rânceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mădălin Barbonța went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciprian Groza during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AFC PunisherS™ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ciprian Groza hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Mădălin Barbonța managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC PunisherS™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mădălin Barbonța was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Barbonța in the 32nd minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Ciociu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Mădălin Barbonța left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC PunisherS™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mădălin Barbonța to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mugurel Răduț got a free kick in the 51st minute. Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mădălin Barbonța 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The supporters of AFC PunisherS™ booed when Fotbal Club Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Răduț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigel Rânceanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mădălin Barbonța showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 66 minute of play. In the 69th minute, AFC PunisherS™'s Mădălin Barbonța dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Gigel Rânceanu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. 80 minutes into the game, Isac Frunză cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Gigel Rânceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to AFC PunisherS™ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Olimpiu Iacobeanu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Alex Potra got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isac Frunză got free with Gigel Rânceanu in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isac Frunză fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Rânceanu having to interfere. AFC PunisherS™ played a much better game than Fotbal Club Vaslui and deserved their victory. The Fotbal Club Vaslui players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
