Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adam Rednic kicked off to start the match. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Jupân in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugen Bobocea during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Bobocea. Golo Phoenix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Rednic came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Basarab Bâlea hit a great ball. Vlad Covrig made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Adam Rednic sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Şerbănescu came free, but Horea Hurmuzache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Costel Gurgui hit a great ball. Remus Elisei hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the DINAMO defense, Olimpiu Fecioru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Hurmuzache should have stopped the shot. Vlad Covrig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Rednic in the 32nd minute. When Golo Phoenix came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Golo Phoenix couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Şerbănescu in the 41st minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Horea Hurmuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Emanuel Ardeleanu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Golo Phoenix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Golo Phoenix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Golo Phoenix to strike the kick off in the second half. Horea Hurmuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Phoenix in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th play minute Olimpiu Fecioru came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Horea Hurmuzache. 0-2. Golo Phoenix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Sever Colin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Golo Phoenix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Golo Phoenix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Golo Phoenix in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Hurmuzache saved DINAMO from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olimpiu Fecioru got free with Horea Hurmuzache in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Olimpiu Fecioru fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Golo Phoenix in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Hurmuzache saved DINAMO from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Golo Phoenix managed to get in a good position for a shot. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Golo Phoenix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Hurmuzache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
