Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Andrei Vârjean made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Adam Rednic who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fotbal Club Vaslui's Bjarnhéðinn de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Bobocea came free, but Bjarnhéðinn de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DINAMO were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Fotbal Club Vaslui's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Greblă took the corner. The corner led DINAMO's David Greblă to fire away a dangerous shot which Bjarnhéðinn de Alcântara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 11th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Anisie to maneuver through the defense. Horea Hurmuzache was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Andrei Vârjean capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrei Vârjean really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 16th minute, Aurel Halipa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Gelu Tăutu got a free kick in the 18th minute. Horea Hurmuzache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Vârjean, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Adam Rednic came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the DINAMO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Rednic couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Andrei Vârjean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horea Hurmuzache was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The attack was good, but when Eugen Bobocea in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Andrei Vârjean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Horea Hurmuzache made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Liviu Mușătescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache didn't even have to move. In the 39th minute, Víglundur von der Schulenburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Víglundur von der Schulenburg's late challenge caught a DINAMO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Víglundur von der Schulenburg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Víglundur von der Schulenburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Bjarnhéðinn de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Greblă in the 43rd minute of play. Adam Rednic took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bjarnhéðinn de Alcântara. Bjarnhéðinn de Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

In the 53rd minute Liviu Mușătescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Hurmuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Vârjean in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horea Hurmuzache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Doinaș to maneuver through the defense. After 68th play minutes Andrei Vârjean shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Horea Hurmuzache and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 75th match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víglundur von der Schulenburg to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Andrei Vârjean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Hurmuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gică Bocșan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute David Greblă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjarnhéðinn de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Marcel Anisie hit a great ball. Horea Hurmuzache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Vârjean, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Liviu Mușătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fotbal Club Vaslui's supporters rose to their feet, but Liviu Mușătescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Hurmuzache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Andrei Vârjean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. DINAMO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Vârjean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. DINAMO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
