Mădălin Barbonța recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Angheloiu to maneuver through the defense. AFC PunisherS™'s Florin Hrandabur shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nechifor Savin but with some difficulty. In the 10th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Opincaru to maneuver through the defense. Costin Ignătoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Agârbiceanu in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC PunisherS™'s zone, Avram Terzian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costin Ignătoiu came out of the goal and Avram Terzian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Matei Angheloiu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Isac Frunză received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nechifor Savin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Avram Terzian made a precise shot to the right of Costin Ignătoiu. AFC PunisherS™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mădălin Barbonța was the one to do the kick off. AFC PunisherS™'s Costin Ignătoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save AFC PunisherS™ from getting a goal against them. FC Maci -MM-'s Avram Terzian got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 minutes, Toader Țepeneag mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC PunisherS™ and the FC Maci -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when AFC PunisherS™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Țepeneag didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Mădălin Barbonța managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC PunisherS™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mădălin Barbonța was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gelu Agârbiceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Costin Ignătoiu made a huge save. Costin Ignătoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Opincaru in the 61st minute of play. After some careless play in the AFC PunisherS™ defense, Eugen Spoială kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costin Ignătoiu. The AFC PunisherS™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costin Ignătoiu should have stopped the shot. AFC PunisherS™'s Ciprian Groza was substituted for Fabian Ciociu. After 68 minutes, Nicolae Pădureanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Maci -MM- and the AFC PunisherS™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nicolae Pădureanu hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Constantin Uncu put in a rough tackle. In the 73rd match minute, AFC PunisherS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Uncu to maneuver through the defense. If Nicolae Pădureanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, AFC PunisherS™'s Costin Ignătoiu got control of the ball when Eugen Spoială tried to sneak it across the goal line. AFC PunisherS™'s Costin Ignătoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Pădureanu in the 81st minute of play. Gavril Chibulcutean's late challenge caught a FC Maci -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavril Chibulcutean helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes AFC PunisherS™ got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Chibulcutean. After 94 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Agulescu.
